The departure station of the Vanoise Express is located in Plan Peisey, in the municipality of Peisey-Nancroix, at an altitude of 1,612 metres. The Vanoise Express connects the Peisey-Vallandry/Les Arcs and La Plagne ski areas in the heart of Paradiski. The Vanoise Express also offers the VertiGO experience 380 metres above the ground. Culture

The Notre-Dame des Vernettes Marian shrine was built in 1720 and is protected as a historic monument. The site is open daily and offers visitors picnic tables, an information board, public toilets in summer, as well as an area with candles, postcards, brochures and souvenirs.

The Chemin des chapelles de Peisey leads to seven chapels and a mountain shrine. Each chapel along this route has an information board and a quiz for children.

Hiking

The De Plan-Peisey à la Chapelle Notre-Dame des Vernettes hiking trail is classified as easy. The Sentier de l'aigle leads to the Alpage des Esserts with its stone chalets; along this route, you can hear the wild Torrent Nant Bénin.
