Nature and Water
Plage du Redon is a natural, tree-lined beach area at the mouth of the Redon River. Trees provide shaded areas at Plage du Redon; however, swimming there is not supervised.
Trails and Heritage
The “Boucle des deux moulins” walking trail starts at the cemetery car park. It leads through fields and forests and passes remarkable mills with their hydraulic systems along the way. La Tartencelloise is a traditional race in Margencel.
Moulin de Pinget is powered by the water of the Redon. A channel directed the water straight onto the mill wheel, thereby increasing the hydraulic power. Visits to Moulin de Pinget are organized by the Association Patrimoine et Traditions during the European Heritage Days.
Leisure Activities
Bowling de Margencel has 20 computer-assisted bowling lanes as well as 12 pool tables with various package offers.
