History

The Canal de l’Ajara in Bastelica is a rural hydraulic engineering structure built in 1875.

The Sampiero Corso Monument in Bastelica was inaugurated on September 21, 1890. It has been listed as a historic monument under a prefectural decree dated February 8, 2008.

The Tricolacci district in Bastelica is also home to a bronze bust of Sampiero Corso.

The Bastelica market takes place on summer Sunday mornings in the village square. It is also held on the third Sunday morning in May, June, and September.
