Mountain and views

Křížová hora is a peak in the Jeřábská vrchovina highlands and rises east of Červená Voda to 735 meters above sea level. A lookout tower with a viewing platform 25 meters above the surrounding terrain stands at the summit. From there, the view extends across a large part of the Kladská Basin.

From the center of Červená Voda, the lookout tower can be reached via a yellow-marked ridge hiking trail. The access path is lined by the Mokřiny nature reserve below the mountain.

Educational trails

The Křížová hora educational trail is approximately 3 kilometers long and provides information about local history and nature at five stations. The Hraběcí educational trail is associated with a fairy-tale story; wooden animal sculptures by Mr. Bubák stand at several points.

Culture

The Červenovodské Museum of Memories and Nature is located on the first floor of the building and is accessible by elevator. The Church of St. Matthew in Červená Voda is an early Baroque church built between 1683 and 1686. In Šanov, Červená Voda, the sculpture group of the Holy Trinity has been protected as a cultural monument since August 11, 2020.
