Stanzach: Family Ski Lifts, Lech Meadows and Paths along the Lech

At the same time, the village represents a landscape along the Lech, paths through the wild river landscape and individual cultural destinations. When choosing specific accommodation, you should check the distance to the lifts separately in each case, because the local lift facilities do not establish a specific location or amenities for individual hotels.

Putting the local winter sports offering into perspective

The three lifts form the documented local focus for winter sports in Stanzach. A snowmaking system is technical snow production and, on its own, says nothing about the current snow conditions, opening hours, operating status or snow reliability. Likewise, no information is documented on the number of kilometres of pistes, difficulty levels, ski schools, childcare or additional lift facilities. For another walking option, the Stanzach circular hiking trail begins on the main road at Sport Fredy. A suitable car park is located before the bridge when coming from Forchach. This allows you to distinguish the starting point of the circular trail from the Lechweg section. On the upper reaches of the Lech near Stanzach, there is also a fishing area with quiet spots on idyllic banks as well as sections with rapids. Churches and the Path of Reflection

There are also independent destinations in Stanzach away from the lifts and landscape. The interior paintings of Stanzach Parish Church were executed in the Nazarene style. Expositur Church of St. Michael, a simple Baroque building dating from 1775 to 1780, stands in the village square. The Path of Reflection “Time for Peace” is based on the biblical Book of Ecclesiastes and invites visitors to reflect on life, its challenges and its transience. These offerings have a different focus from winter sports and are therefore suitable as a cultural or contemplative complement when choosing a destination.
