Marbach-Egg Ski School Expands Its Offerings

Marbach is a small ski resort in the southwest of the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland, between Lucerne and Bern. The Marbach-Egg Ski School and Abbühl-Sport Ski Center will be able to offer winter sports enthusiasts an even wider range of services during their ski holidays in Switzerland in the future.

The ski hotels in Marbach are just a stone's throw from the ski school and lifts, making a ski holiday in the canton of Lucerne ideal for families with children. The training concept at the Marbach-Egg Ski School is particularly tailored to children who want to gain their first experience on skis or a snowboard in the Swiss canton of Lucerne. The two partners involved, the Marbach-Egg Ski School and Abbühl-Sport, expect the opening of the new sports pavilion to improve the range of courses and general services, according to a press release.

From December 20, 2009, twice as much space will be available in the Marbach valley. As part of a fitting opening celebration, the Marbach-Egg Ski School and Abbühl-Sport will inaugurate a new sports pavilion next weekend, providing space for new courses and ski equipment.

Opening of the sports pavilion

A colorful program will be put together for the children this coming Sunday to mark the opening of the sports pavilion in Marbach. At 2 p.m., the popular children's ski instructor "Snowli" will give a sample of his comedic talent by making a ski lesson exceptionally funny and entertaining. Abbühl-Sport's offerings range from skis and snowboards to helmets and other safety equipment, as well as snowshoeing. If needed, skis and snowboards can be rented from Abbühl-Sport right at the slope, while the Marbach-Egg Ski School teaches the essential basics of alpine winter sports. This means beginners are also in very good hands at the Marbach ski resort and are always warmly welcome.
