The Tosca Eye and Bond have shaped the Bregenz region. But it has much more to offer than media attention. The ski region of Vorarlberg offers skiers wonderful resorts set against an impressive mountain backdrop. The ski circuit creates one gigantic slope. Après-ski is also a big deal here, especially in the ski centers of Montafon and Lech. Even so, they have retained their charming character. The smaller ski resorts are much quieter.

Vorarlberg’s ski resorts are known for their comfort and quality. Well-kept, elegant hotels and restaurants pamper guests in summer, too.

The Arlberg is considered an exceptionally attractive ski area. The luxurious Lech, including the village of Zürs, is also a snowboarding mecca. Montafon offers a more refined atmosphere, while the Bregenzerwald is rural and peaceful. Mellau and Damüls appeal to freeriders with their uniquely abundant snowfall, averaging 9 meters. Brandnertal is less well-known than Kleinwalsertal.

The beautiful landscape offers wonderful hiking trails in summer. Above all, Vorarlberg is a place to relax. It’s also ideal for an adventure-filled holiday with the whole family. Summer visitors to the popular ski region of Vorarlberg can also look forward to culinary delights.
