Riesneralm winter holiday

Sensational early start to the winter season at Riesneralm in Styria. All 4 runs down to the valley are open from November 24! All the slopes are in top condition and ready to go. This also applies to what is probably Austria’s first children’s ski carousel in the valley. Continuous lift operations start on December 1. An early onset of winter makes it possible.

Children are a big deal at the Rieneralm ski resort. They have their own ski area. The slope area covers more than 6 hectares, including 5 different runs and 4 lifts. There is also an adventure trail, a playhouse, a ski school, a wave run and a magic carpet. The children’s ski carousel with its incredibly long conveyor belt (176 m) is a sensation. The conveyor belt, the “Krispini Express,” connects the children’s ski carousel and the chairlift. This lift is ideal for little ones and snowboard beginners. Of course, it’s also suitable for adult beginners. And it is accessible to people with disabilities. This unique project is more than just a fairytale playground.
