Serre Chevalier in spring: festivals and tours

One of the largest ski resorts in the south of France - Serre Chevalier - has prepared for its guests a wide range of events in March and April. The first is a classical music festival dedicated to the famous composer Jacques Offenbach. Musical opera and operetta fest will be held at the resort from 12 to 17 March 2012.

End of March at most ski resorts in the Alps is a family vacation period. Serre Chevalier is no exception. From 22 to March 25, 2012 children and their parents, who are active snowboarders, will be offered an opportunity to see the best young snowboarders of France. All of them will arrive to the Serre Che snow park for the children French snowboarding championship Kid's Snowboard Championships. Despite the fact that this is a children championship, its level is quite adult, as Kid's Snowboard Championships is organized with the help of the French FCC professional snowboard association.

Another festival with quite unexpected theme for a ski resort will be held in April in Serre Chevalier. From 7 to 9 April Serre Chevalier will host the final of the detective Roman Festival.

Due to the abundance of exciting festivals Serre Chevalier has announced special offers on ski vacations at the resort.
