Lucerne attracts with ski discounts

Lucerne
Lucerne, Switzerland

Ski Switzerland prepares a surprise for its guests in many cities. After the end of the summer season more and more holidaymakers are turning their attention to the ski resorts of Switzerland. This is facilitated by the increased promotion of active winter recreation, as well as the fact that the resorts themselves regularly organize various promotions and discounts for accommodation and related services in order to attract guests.

So, for example, ski resorts located around one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland - Lucerne - announced the beginning of such a campaign. It means that every tourist booking a room at the hotel participating in the program may receive a special Snow Card, which allows saving money on accommodation and ski passes up to 30%. Snow Card allows its holder to ski at reduced prices in any of the 13 sports zones and move between them. Besides, the discount card allows getting free ski lessons from the best ski instructors, as well as some other nice bonuses.

But Lucerne is not a 100% ski resort if compared with such popular centers as St. Moritz or Zermatt. In Lucerne mostly come tourists, attracted by the extraordinary beauty of the city and its surrounding landscape. Also in Lucerne are held many cultural events of European and even world level. However, current trends of winter tourism inspired creating of small ski resorts not far from the city. Many slopes near Lucerne are equipped with lifts and have the basic infrastructure. But now the tourists visiting the capital of Central Switzerland (as Lucerne is often referred to) in winter can combine leisure with rich cultural and entertainment program in Lucerne.
