Chamonix is a French ski resort, which is famous around the world for its picturesque Mont Blanc slopes, announced the beginning of ski passes pre-selling for the resort’s slopes. Ski passes can be bought at a discounted price in the beginning of September.
Seasonal ticket sales for ski holidays in Chamonix started on 2 September 2011. Discount program in Chamonix is valid for two types of ski passes: seasonal and year-round. Discounts are given for the regional and advanced ski passes: Mont Blanc Unlimited ski pass and Le Pass ski pass. Sales of ski passes at discounted prices are organized by the official operator of the Chamonix ski resort Compagnie du Mont Blanc.
Discounts will be valid until 30 November 2011, when the high season begins in Chamonix. Until that time skiers who decide to buy ski passes on the slopes of Mont Blanc in advance can save a decent amount.
So, when buying a ski pass before October 14 tourists can save up to 40% of the cost of seasonal ski pass. From October 14 to mid November Chamonix plans to continue ski pass discount program. However, the size of discounts will be smaller.
The year-round ski pass for the Chamonix resort Mont Blanc Unlimited will cost 975 Euros with discount per person (or 1760 Euros without discount). Seasonal ski pass Mont Blanc Unlimited will cost 800 Euros with discount per person (or 1430 Euros without discount). The year-round ski pass Chamonix Le Pass will cost 703 Euros (1166 Euros without discount) and 572 Euro (935 Euro without discount) respectively.
In Chamonix you can also buy ski passes at a discounted price for skiing in the early season (from December 3 to December 23, 2011), as well as in the late season (from April 14 to May 6, 2012). Most discounts are offered for ski passes from three days and more.
