Located in the Engadin valley, St. Moritz resort is one of the oldest in the world. Due to its geographical position, it can boast of unique weather - 322 sunny days a year. Together with Gstaad, St. Moritz is the most popular among the representatives of aristocratic and royal families of Europe. Because of its eminent visitors the resort is often referred to as "Top of the world".
In addition to weather St. Moritz is famous for its attractions, especially in winter, when the lake freezes over. On its ice are held competitions in such sport as cricket, polo and skijoring (horse racing), as well as the world's only ice golf championship, where are used red balls. And, of course, magnificently equipped ski trails (total length is 350 km) annually attract thousands of skiers to St Moritz.
