Hintertux is the only Austrian ski resort that offers year-round skiing. Unique opportunities of Hintertux allow it to attract amateurs of active holidays in Austria in summer not only by possibility of summer skiing, but also other sports, including mountain bike, rock climbing and white water rafting.

In the current summer season Hintertux offers skiing on 18 kilometers of tracks that are served in total by 9 lifts. For the fans of snowboarding its services offers Betterpark - a snowboard centre in Hintertux with half-pipe and rails.

Currently in Hintertux are available daily ski passes, which cost 35.5 euros for adults and 17 euros for children.

The program of summer skiing in Hintertux is valid for 5 months. Opening of the summer skiing at the resort was held on 8 May and will run until October 7, 2011.

Throughout the summer season in Hintertux will work Gletscherbus - the highest in the world double-deck lift, which deliver tourists to the height of 3250 meters.

Also Hintertux guests are offered special guided tours on the glacier, which are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. But there are no Russian-speaking guides in the teams.

Tours in Hintertux also includes visiting of Spannagelhoehle caves and ice climbing on the Mount Olpeler.

Hintertux remains an attractive place not only for holidays, but also for training. People can spend their training vacations many famous skiers of the world.

Accommodation for those, who wants to ski on the slopes of the resort, is available in a small village, which is also called Hintertux and is situated at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level.
