The Zoo de Servion focuses on northern wildlife, big cats, small primates and lemurs. It is located on the edge of the Jorat forests and at the intersection of hiking trails.

Nature
The zoo grounds are situated among wooded areas, meadows, ponds and forests. In the tropical greenhouse of the Tropiquarium de Servion, visitors can observe rare birds flying freely around them. The dome houses terrariums for endangered species, including Komodo dragons, Siamese crocodiles and giant tortoises from the Galápagos Islands. Through encounters with little-known and partly endangered animals, the Tropiquarium de Servion raises awareness of biological diversity.
Visit
There are benches and shaded areas along the route through the zoo. The zoo has a free, shaded parking area with 500 spaces. The zoo restaurant has a shaded terrace overlooking the tiger enclosure. Picnic areas are distributed along the visitor route.
Culture
Molasse from Servion was used to construct numerous buildings in Lausanne. The Théâtre Barnabé began in Servion in 1965 with a cultural event in a barn next to the Café-Restaurant Croix-Blanche. There were molasse quarries in the Servion-Mézières region; their stone was transported towards Lausanne in donkey-drawn carts.
