Geographical location

Within Wartau, Trübbach lies on the left bank of the Rhine, near the mouth of the diverted Trübbach stream. Wartau has access to the A13, a railway station in Trübbach and a border crossing to Liechtenstein.

Culture

In Gretschins, the Romanesque Church of St. Martin, built in 1493, characterizes the village landscape. East of Gretschins, the ruins of Wartau Castle stand on the Martinsberg; they are visible from far away. The historical development of Trübbach took place within the framework of Wartau.
