One hiking option leads around Finsterbüel towards the small hamlet of Breitenfeld. Along the way, there are views of the Lungern basin and towards the Bernese Alps.
The Lungern-Turren area offers downhill mountain biking routes towards Lungern and via Dundelegg–Mörlialp.
Lake
In summer, Lake Lungern is associated with swimming, fishing, yachting and windsurfing.
