Culture

Historic houses dating from the 17th and 18th centuries line the main road; small gardens and traditional stables lie between them. The Church of San Giorgio in Borgonovo was rebuilt in 1694. Its interior includes a stained-glass window by Augusto Giacometti; the adjacent cemetery contains the graves of Giovanni, Augusto and Alberto Giacometti.
