Feldis/Veulden is located on a terrace on the slope of the Stätzerhorn range and is the northernmost settlement within the Domleschg mountain villages. Relatively secluded, Feldis/Veulden lies on a natural terrace; today, the village can be reached via a mountain road from Domleschg via Scheid.

Geographical Classification
The former municipal area of Feldis/Veulden covered 758 hectares. Of this, 433 hectares were covered by forest and woodland, while 268 hectares were used for agriculture and consisted mostly of alpine farms.
History
The first aerial cableway from Rhäzüns to Feldis/Veulden was built in 1959 and replaced by a new, modern cableway in 2006 after the initial concession expired.
