Culture
Erlach is a destination for visits to St. Peter's Island. A small castle museum and the old prison tower can be visited on request.
Nature
Nearby, St. Peter's Island and its Heidenweg trail are designated as a nature reserve and as a nationally important waterbird and migratory bird sanctuary.
On St. Peter's Island, the 6 km-long Island Trail leads through flora, fauna and cultural history at 11 interactive stations. One of the starting points is at the beginning of the Heidenweg trail in Erlach.
