Hiking

The Soča Trail in Triglav National Park follows the Soča from its source to Bovec. The Soča Trail is 25 kilometres long in total. Nature

The Small Soča Gorges are 100 metres long and 6 metres deep and can be viewed from a bridge below Turistična kmetija Jelinčič. The Great Soča Gorge can be explored on foot in sections along a marked forest path on the left bank, but it is not fully accessible.

The entry point for navigating the Soča is at the end of the Great Soča Gorge. Navigating through the gorge is not permitted for safety reasons.

Culture and History

The military cemetery in Soča was expanded from an Austro-Hungarian wartime field hospital cemetery; today, more than 1,400 soldiers and prisoners of war are buried there.
