San Martino and La Rotonda
The monumental San Martino complex lies outside the village on the summit of a plateau overlooking the Verbania plain. The monumental San Martino complex was built between the 16th and 18th centuries on the site of a small Romanesque chapel that already existed. The monumental San Martino complex includes the parish church, the frescoed ossuary, the parish house and the cemetery surrounding the circular church of La Rotonda. The parish church of San Martino in the complex of the same name was completed in 1615. La Rotonda is a circular oratory at the centre of the cemetery of the San Martino complex and is considered unique of its kind in Europe. Beneath the portico of La Rotonda is a Stations of the Cross frescoed by Lorenzo Peretti.
Cultural heritage in Bureglio and Vignone
The Oratorio di San Michele in Bureglio was completed in 1799. Casa degli Archi in Bureglio is a typical dwelling built in spontaneous architecture and is used for exhibitions and events. On the exterior wall of a private house in the village of Vignone is a Serizzo architrave engraved with three anthropomorphic figures. The cultural sites thus range from an oratory and a dwelling to a stone engraving.

The ÆQUILIBRIUM cycling loop is 15.5 kilometres long and begins in Cambiasca. The route length of 15.5 kilometres can be taken into account when choosing your cycling pace; the starting point remains in Cambiasca. One variant of the ÆQUILIBRIUM route leads in Vignone to the hamlet of Bureglio and the rock engravings in the Belvedere locality. A historic route through Vignone formed part of a route that led from the lake and from Intra to San Martino, ran via Bureglio into the Valle Intrasca, crossed the Zeda and reached Switzerland.
