This route offers a different way of experiencing the landscape from the level path at the moor: the ascent is part of the route described and should be taken into account when planning your day. Another documented access route is via a chairlift, which can be used to reach Lago Santo. Lucio e Amanzio. It is dedicated to the fallen and adds another historically significant site to a visit to the castle.
