Culture and History

The settlement's oldest church of monument status is considered to be a church building that was rebuilt in 1739, mentioned in the papal tithe register of 1332–37, and described as a Baroque church. It was built onto a medieval tower and has a Gothic rose window.

Szent Demeter Church stands on a hill above the village next to the cemetery. It is a single-nave, east-facing church with a tower and a polygonal apse.

The building contains medieval structural elements, including a rose window from the 14th century that was inserted at a later date. Inside, there is a vaulted nave and a vaulted chancel.
