The Tankstelle, Höchstenbach bus stop is located directly on the Wied Trail. Free parking is available for Wied Trail users at Höchstenbach Cemetery on Friedhofstraße.
Culture
The 13th-century church was renovated with LEADER funding. The General Marcau monument was damaged and rebuilt several times.
Getting there
On weekdays, bus route 420 runs from Hachenburg Markt to the Tankstelle, Höchstenbach bus stop. The bus journey takes approximately 14 minutes. On weekdays, bus route 255 is available for the return journey from Altenkirchen to Höchstenbach.
The return connection from Höchstenbach to Linden is also documented for weekdays: the entire return journey takes between 32 and 50 minutes.
