Bilkheim’s documented archaeological heritage includes a burial site dating from the Hallstatt period, with 30 burial mounds and flat graves. The cemetery is no longer visible today; an information board provides historical information and displays images of the finds.

Culture

Bilkheim’s bakehouse opens for traditional bread baking in the stone oven during the annual Backes Festival. The museum house preserves oak beams, some of which are more than seven metres long; it also features well-preserved wall decorations. The historic building stock also includes Hofgut Neuroth, a small moated castle dating from 1664, with an almost square ground plan, a tower-like elevation, and mansard roofs.
