There are parking facilities for the Orke Trail in the center of Medelon; an alternative access point is located at the Orketal hiking parking area. Bus route 361 connects Medebach, Medelon, and Hallenberg.
At a wooden bridge, the Orke Trail can be shortened to around 4 km for younger children. There is a playground in the village center. The route is not suitable for strollers.
