Culture

The present-day church stands within a complex local history. An earlier church in Stormbruch was documented in 1526 as a branch church of Heringhausen, destroyed in the village fire of 1784, rebuilt as a half-timbered church in 1792, and replaced by a new building in 1959. The village bell tower houses one bell from 1795 and two bells from 1968.
