The 3.5-kilometer Lengefeld Family Adventure Trail begins at the hikers’ parking area at Lengefeld Forester’s Lodge. It leads along the Marbeck stream, past Wipper Pond and through the beech forest on Wipper Mountain. The trail includes a research point, seven adventure stations, three play areas and a rest zone.
The Family Adventure Trail is designed for interactive learning and outdoor play. The activities involve water, forests, soils, rocks, as well as stream and forest animals. The trail is manageable for families with kindergarten-age children; it is not suitable for strollers.
The medieval Hünenkeller is located directly next to the Family Adventure Trail and can be reached via a short detour.
