The Drei Seen Tour is an easy, 12-kilometre route with an approximate duration of 3.5 hours. It leads around Ober-Mooser See, Nieder-Mooser See and Rothenbachteich. The route includes well-maintained paths as well as forest and field tracks with moderate climbs; the starting point is at the campsite near Nieder-Moos. The Vulkanradweg also runs near this starting point at the campsite near Nieder-Moos.

The Nieder-Mooser Konzertsommer is a recurring summer concert series in Nieder-Moos. It has been running for more than 45 years and features performances centred around the historic Oestreich organ.
