The Town and Tower Museum is housed in historic rooms of the Hohenfeld Chapel on “Am Amthof” street and exhibits objects relating to the town, local heritage, and natural history. The fourth floor of the Obertorturm offers views of the Taunus; 133 steps lead to the tower keeper’s apartment. If you need to avoid stairs, do not count on this tower as an accessible viewpoint.

Kneipp spa park and quiet days

The central spa park combines mature trees, flower beds, paths, water features, and a Kneipp water-treading pool. Its herb garden, next to the MEDIAN Therapy Center, covers 800 square meters and has 120 perennial species and 15 woody plant species arranged in 14 beds. A sensory experience trail featuring elements made of wood, metal, and stone has been part of the park since 2024. A movement trail is located beside the 18-hole mini golf course. Whether the water-treading pool, mini golf, and individual installations can be used in winter depends on current operating conditions and the weather. Kneipp therapy, physiotherapy, and medical wellness have been offered at the municipally operated “PHYSIO IM BADEHAUS” since April 2024; specific treatments are not a feature of just any accommodation.

Hiking trails, not unsupported claims about ski slopes

Together with the town’s districts, 27 circular hiking trails totaling 225 kilometers have been developed. This figure refers to the entire trail network, not a single hike. The hiking map also includes the 25-kilometer Kercheweg and four terrain therapy trails. An official cycling guide features twelve routes and three connecting routes; its GPX files can be used with compatible devices.
