Pirka: Hotels and Accommodation

A 7 km circular hike described as easy begins at Pirka campsite. It mostly follows natural forest and meadow paths directly along the Schwarze Regen and is considered suitable for the whole family.

Nature

Another circular hike described as easy covers 9 km and takes around three hours. It leads from the campsite through Pirka to the Kronberg and back along forest and field paths; the route also includes views across Viechtach.

A 24 km cycling loop described as moderately difficult is listed. It follows the Schwarze Regen along forest paths to the Kronberg, partly descends via a challenging single trail to the Höllensteinsee, and returns via the Regental Cycle Path.

The ruins of Neunussberg Castle are located in the immediate vicinity of Pirka. In the wider regional area are Mitterfels Castle, Chammünster, the Parish Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and St. George's Church.
