A 14-kilometre hiking trail leads south from Untermitterdorf. It follows the Törlbach valley and continues via Kaltenbrunn, Abtschlag, Hintberg, Raindorf and Berneck towards Plattenstein and Fürberg Chapel; the duration is given as approximately three to four hours. The Plattenstein route also leaves Untermitterdorf towards the south and includes a steep ascent to the 880-metre-high Plattenstein. From there, the route offers views over the Danube Valley, while the descent passes Fürberg Chapel.
