Hiking and Viticulture
The Räbhisliwäg begins in the center of Sexau and takes about 80 minutes. As a themed trail, it leads through Sexau’s viticultural cultural landscape. Thirteen information panels explain viticulture in Sexau.

Culture and History
The medieval Hochburg castle ruins between Emmendingen and Sexau are one of the largest castle complexes in Baden. They can be visited year-round until nightfall.
The Grube Caroline silver mine near Sexau is associated with extensive mining in the Freiamt-Sexau area between 1200 and 1530.
Geographical Location
Sexau is considered a gateway to the Black Forest and the Upper Rhine Plain. Sexau and its surroundings are connected with the Southern Black Forest Nature Park.
