Winter
In Vallandry’s beginners’ area, the first gliding exercises and turns take place at the top of the Vallandry gondola; the first descents are in La Forêt des Pitchouns. Vallandry’s beginners’ area is accessible to pedestrians.
Peisey-Vallandry is connected to the Paradiski ski area and offers direct access to 425 km of alpine ski runs.
Culture and nature
The Muséum des Animaux de Montagne at the top of the Vallandry gondola presents more than 30 alpine animal species across 120 m². It includes a local cabinet of curiosities, artworks inspired by the mountain world, and an exhibition on high-altitude flowers.
The Aiguille Grive summit is in the vicinity of Vallandry. The Les Lanchettes mountain is located near Vallandry. The summits of Pointe du Four and Aiguille Rouge are also in the vicinity of Vallandry.
Additional activities
The Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry bike park offers 151 km of marked, developed and secured trails for all levels.
From 4 July to 29 August, the summer lift schedule for the Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry bike park also includes the Vallandry gondola.
The hiking route via the Col de l’Entreporte and the Les Rossets mountain pasture returns towards Vallandry via the “N. D. des Vernettes” and “Plan Peisey” path.
