Winter sports
Argentière offers the Domaine nordique d'Argentière for Nordic winter sports, with around 15 kilometres of groomed trails for classic cross-country skiing and skating. The nearest railway station to the Grands Montets ski area is Gare d'Argentière.

Nature
The Glacier d'Argentière flows towards the village of Argentière, after which it is named. The Balade de la Moraine d'Argentière leads to a viewpoint over the glacier gorge. The du Péclerey hike offers an extensive panorama of the Aiguilles Rouges.
Trails
The Petit Balcon Sud hiking trail connects Argentière with Servoz. The Petit Balcon Nord hiking trail: Le Tour–Argentière runs between Le Tour and Argentière on the northern side of the valley. The hike to the Lacs des Cheserys from Argentière takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes and leads to the Chéserys chalets at an altitude of 1,998 metres.
Au Fil du Rail is a 3-kilometre-long, fun and educational trail that can be completed alone or with the family in Argentière. The Site d'escalade de la Joux has around 50 climbing routes ranging in height from 5 to 70 metres. The Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix also welcomes visitors at its office in Argentière.
Culture
The Église Saint-Pierre d'Argentière was built in the Baroque style in 1726. The altarpiece of the Église Saint-Pierre d'Argentière was listed as a historic monument in 1912. The hamlet of Le Tour has old, typical farmhouses.
