Nature
The designated ash tree “Jasan u Milešic” is located in Milešice. It is classified as Fraxinus excelsior and has a trunk circumference of 404 cm.
Geographical location
Milešický prales is fenced off because it is located within a deer enclosure. The upper part of the Milešice settlement is now behind the fence of a game enclosure and is permanently uninhabited.

The “Na Šumavě kolem Zlaté stezky” cycling tour is a circular route. It runs via Volary–Zbytiny–Mlynařovice–Milešice–Kubrna–Kaplice–Lenora–Soumarský Most–Volary and therefore passes through Milešice.
A road cycling circuit leads through Milešice. This road cycling circuit includes a 7.5 km-long climb with more than 500 metres of elevation gain to the saddle below Bobík.
History
