The Lišák ski area is located in Stříbrná at the foot of the Ore Mountains and has just under 3.5 kilometres of ski runs at elevations between 630 and 790 metres. The ski area includes a green beginner's slope, a wide intermediate slalom slope, the forested Touristická sjezdovka and the black „Rukáv“ run.
Trails and Winter Routes
Stříbrná has numerous marked hiking and cycling trails, making tours through the western Ore Mountains possible. For cross-country skiers, the groomed Krušnohorská magistrála serves as a connection between nearby Bublava and Boží Dar.
Mountain and Rock
A shelter and a summit register stand on the 991-metre-high summit of Špičák. Špičák offers a view of the western side of the Ore Mountains. The Skalní město u Stříbrné consists of quartzite rocks with rock towers ranging from 3 to 20 metres in height; the climbing routes there are mostly secured with bolts and pitons.
Tour to Špičák
The tour to Špičák in the Rájecké údolí valley leads from Stříbrná first along a red-marked and then a green-marked hiking route to the summit of Špičák. The tour can be reached by bus from Kraslice to Stříbrná; from there, continue on foot or by bicycle.
History and Townscape
The pseudo-Gothic Church of the Most Sacred Heart of the Lord in Stříbrná dates from 1909 to 1910. The first written references to Stříbrná date from 1601 and are connected with the Stříbrný potok.
