Boden: Hiking, Ski Touring and Tobogganing

From there, cross the bridge over the Fundaisbach and follow the Angerlebach upstream to Angerleboden. This route therefore connects a fixed starting point in Boden with a trail along the stream. The Boden–Weilerrunde Pfafflar is designated as a family hike and begins and ends in Boden. Its route leads through various hamlets from Boden to Pfafflar. Along the way, you pass old, traditional wooden houses in Brandegg and Unterhaus; Pfafflar is finally reached via the Ebele. For a mountain tour with a fixed destination, the hike from Boden to the Hanauer Hütte leads through the Angerletal. After around 2 hours and 15 minutes, the Hanauer Hütte is reached at an altitude of 1,922 metres. An alternative route is the Boden–Fundaistal–Hanauer Hütte–Boden circular hike. It starts and ends in Boden, covers 15.06 kilometres and includes 1,118 metres of ascent. The recommended ascent leads through the secluded Fundaistal and past the Küblerwände and the Fundaisplatten.

Ski touring and tobogganing in winter

The ski tour to the Westliche Dremelscharte starts in Boden and passes the Hanauer Hütte. Around 1,000 metres of elevation gain must be covered. In the upper section, the terrain faces north. This directional information describes the orientation of the terrain; it is not a statement about current snow conditions or guaranteed skiability. As another documented winter activity, the challenging Boden–Hahntennjoch toboggan run is located near the mountain village of Boden in a side valley of the Lech Valley. It extends for more than two kilometres from the mountain village of Pfafflar to Boden. In addition to the ski tour, this provides a separate toboggan route connecting the two locations.
