Oberperfuss: Cable Cars, Winter Trails and Culture

Oberperfuss offers several ways to make the most of a stay in the mountains. The valley station of the 8-seater Peter-Anich I gondola lift is located in Oberperfuss. From there, the lift travels to the Stiglreith panoramic restaurant; the 8-seater Peter-Anich II gondola lift continues to Sulzstich at around 1,800 metres.

Culture in Oberperfuss

The history of the village includes Oberperfuss Parish Church and the Anich-Hueber Museum. A sundial by Peter Anich is located on the exterior of the church's south side. During renovation work in 1970, vault paintings by Franz Altmutter were uncovered inside the church. The Anich-Hueber Museum provides information about the work and achievements of Peter Anich and Blasius Hueber.

If you would like to visit the museum, you need to take its limited opening hours into account: the Anich-Hueber Museum in Oberperfuss is open by appointment only. This means that cultural destinations can be sensibly planned in advance, while cable cars, the toboggan run, snowshoe hikes and trails provide other focal points for your stay.
