Neuss Ski Hall promotes ski holidays in Salzburger Land
On July 13, 2008, the Neuss Ski Hall presents a brand-new family event. Teams of four compete against each other for victory at the 1st Neuss Lumberjack Day.

Grand prize: a farm holiday
The grand prize for the winners is a farm holiday in beautiful Salzburger Land in Austria. The prizes for the second- and third-place finishers are also impressive. The „Hüttenfetzer“ and other entertainers will provide musical fun. Minozoo, the strength tester, and grilled specialties at the „Neuss Glacier“ will add excitement to the family event.
Highlights at the Neuss Ski Hall
More highlights are coming up at the Neuss Ski Hall: On September 13, „Die jungen Zillertaler“ kick off Oktoberfest with Bavarian treats. The Almabtrieb (cattle drive) follows at the Neuss Ski Hall on September 14. According to the organizers, admission to the Alpine festival is free, with flower children and decorated animals. The traditional Almabtrieb parade sets off at around 2:30 p.m. from Neuss Grefrath for the Alm Biergarten festival tent at the Neuss Ski Hall. You can already get a taste of a ski holiday there. Salzburger Land is a popular ski holiday destination. Skiers can look forward to 1,700 km of superbly groomed slopes in 22 ski regions. The snow holiday leaves nothing to be desired.
