Pow(d)er Week 2008
It’s that time again on 6 December 2008: with Pow(d)er Week, Cologne-based ski holiday specialist Snowtrex kicks off the 2008/2009 winter season. As in previous years, the 2008 Po(w)derweek will take place in the Les 2 Alpes ski area in the French Alps.
Po(w)derweek
According to Snowtrex, the “ultimate season opening,” Pow(d)er Week 2008 in Les 2 Alpes takes place from 6–13 December 2008. Snowtrex promises an ideal ski region for the start of the season: Les 2 Alpes offers reliable snow conditions and incredibly wide, still-empty pistes at this early point in the year. The Les 2 Alpes glacier ski area boasts a unique 240,000 m² snowpark for skiing and snowboarding. Snowtrex is therefore offering ideal conditions for its ski-season opening.

In 2007, more than 600 people joined Snowtrex’s Po(w)derweek—a testament to the really affordable prices for a week of skiing in 2008, too: If you travel to Les 2 Alpes independently, seven nights’ accommodation including a ski pass can be booked from just 198 euros per person. The offer is aimed at young skiers and snowboarders interested in sports and fun, parties and action.
For Po(w)derweek 2008, accommodation is available in apartments for 2–10 people at various hotels and apartment complexes in Les 2 Alpes. The “flagships” of the Snowtrex offer include Résidence Edelweiss, a 3.5-sun residence completely renovated in 2006, just 300 metres from the Jandri gondola; Le Flocon d'Or, built in 2000 and located right on the piste; the luxurious Résidence Le Goleon apartment complex; and Résidence Le Cortina, newly built in chalet style in winter 2005/06.
The season-opening offers for Po(w)derweek are already available to book on the Snowtrex website, via the hotline +49 (0)221 336062811, and of course online at skiurlaub-infos.de. Anyone hoping to join Po(w)derweek 2008 in Les 2 Alpes should book early.
