Snowfever Fieberbrunn
Fieberbrunn is a beautiful snowboarder’s paradise in the Kitzbühel Alps of Tyrol. It’s also an insider tip for freeriders and a wonderful ski region. Although Fieberbrunn is only about 800 m above sea level, the ski area is known for its reliable snow conditions.
The magnificent slopes reach elevations of over 2,000 m. Skiers and snowboarders flock to this snowboarding mecca from the beginning of December until shortly after Easter. The ideal snowboarding terrain, with a permanent halfpipe and fantastic off-piste runs, gets snowboarders’ hearts racing.

There are 200 km of slopes available, including 35 km in the village of Fieberbrunn. There are slopes to suit every taste, and they’re all top-notch. There are also wonderful deep-snow slopes. Freeriders and carving enthusiasts can also enjoy the wide-open runs. Winter sports with magnificent panoramic views of the Kitzbühel Alps. The new eight-person gondola takes you high up to the sunny, snow-covered slopes. Night skiing at the Weissachlift is also on offer.

Another highlight is taking place in Fieberbrunn from March 7 to 9, 2008: the “Snowfever” Big Mountain Freeride Winter Games. The party kicks off on Saturday, March 1, with four live bands in Fieberbrunn’s village square. This is an event you won’t want to miss.
