Der Bergdoktor at the Wilder Kaiser
The “Wilder Kaiser” in Austria’s Tyrol region will soon be the filming location for the television series “Der Bergdoktor”. ZDF has chosen Ellmau, Scheffau, Going and Söll as filming locations, and these place names will also be used faithfully in the series. Usually, the names of filming locations are changed. This is a source of great joy for the residents of the ski resort at the Wilder Kaiser. After all, it is also good publicity and will help attract even more holidaymakers to this beautiful ski resort.
Summer holidays at the Wilder Kaiser
But a summer holiday at the Wilder Kaiser has plenty to offer, too. More than 70 mountain huts, 700 km of signposted hiking trails, 400 km of cycling and mountain biking trails, 27-hole and 9-hole golf courses in Ellmau, plus 14 more nearby. And 9 bathing lakes, outdoor and indoor pools, and 5 paragliding sites await holidaymakers.
