Montafon is a 39 km-long valley in the western Austrian Alps, in Vorarlberg. Its highest mountain is Piz Buin in the Silvretta range, at 3,312 m. The Montafon-Silvretta-Card is the first regional Alpine pass to work across national borders. The neighboring Paznaun and Samnaun valleys are also included in its area of validity.

Holidaymakers with the Montafon-Silvretta-Card

With the Montafon-Silvretta-Card, holidaymakers can use the chairlifts and cable cars not only on a ski holiday. Summer visitors can also enjoy beautiful hikes through the stunning countryside. Regular guests in particular prefer the Montafon season pass. This is mainly because of its attractive price. Longer-term rates naturally have the advantage of encouraging holidaymakers to return to the region. A single card gives access to many facilities throughout the valley, such as the mountain railway network in Bludenz, Montafon, Brandnertal, Galtür, Kappl, Ischgl, Samnaun and See.
