Ski resorts in France: season continues

French ski resorts continue to delight its guests with numerous sales and surprises. New routes, tracks, special offers and tours to ski France - there are still some new products.

Val Thorens on the eve of school holidays in France launched two new toboggan tracks. One of them, Extra Fun track, is located in the heart of the resort, near the Caron square. The local toboggan slope is designed for children aged of two years and older. While their children get fun on the hill the parents can relax in the cafes at the foot of the routes. For older children in Val Thorens was opened Piste aux Etoiles, the route of 250-meter length, which is also available near Caron. You can reach it on two lifts "magic carpet". Both tracks offer their services free of charge.

While Val Thorens tries to please the youngest skiers Savoie Mont-Blanc region has prepared a special package for experienced skiers. Savoie Mont-Blanc tourist office created a special list of technically difficult tracks and resorts in the region. Among them is the famous "Swiss wall" in Avoriaz and the black tracks of Val-Disier and Les Arcs. By the way, Les Arcs track is one of the most famous ski areas in the world. Les Menuires has prepared special spring tours at the end of the season. A week vacation on the slopes of the resort will cost just 194 euros, if booked no less than a week from 19 March to 9 April 2011. The offer includes studio accommodation for four people and a 6-day ski pass.

Among the most striking events at the nearby ski resorts of France is the race Kandahar World Cup, which will be held in Chamonix on the legendary slopes of Kandahar on January 29-30.
