Ski-Ride Guides For Winter Sports Enthusiasts

Ski-Ride Guides
Ski-Ride Guides

Ski-Ride Productions offered winter sports amateurs a set of free downloadable guides on specific European ski resorts published in specially designed native data format providing the capability of using the guides on cell phones and other mobile devices in offline mode, which is really handy, cause they can be accessible anywhere even in the places where cell phones do not function.

The guides can also be easily shared with help of bluetooth or email which means that they can be easily send to a friend or whoever you wish to send them. For those who for some reasons prefer to read guides in more old-fashioned hard copy manner, there are illustrated printable variants available online. The whole pack of guides can be downloaded for free at ski-ride.co.uk .

Ski-Ride guides provide actual and thorough info about ski lifts, pistes, snowparks, restaurants and cafes, regional trivia, etcetera, etcetera for major European ski regions, for instance Espace Killy (Val d'Isère - Tignes), Grandvalira (Soldeu - El Tarter - Pas de la Casa) and Vallnord (Pal - Arinsal - Arcalís) ski areas.

Francis Johnston, the creator of this approach to guide making and Ski-Ride Productions director, explained the concept of this project: “There aren't very many travel guidebooks available that are focused on specific ski areas, and any that are available in bookshops are out-of-date almost as soon as they're printed. I'm delighted that our digital publishing solution has been so well received: skiers & snowboarders now don't need to lug the extra weight of a soggy paper guidebook around, yet they can still have masses of up-to-date information at their fingertips wherever & whenever they need it”.
