It’s Still Snowing at Ski Resorts

It’s Still Snowing at Ski Resorts
It’s Still Snowing at Ski Resorts

It seems that the 2007 – 2008 ski and snowboard season is going to be the best one during the last years. The snow is coming and coming bringing much joy and pleasure for skiers and snowboarders.

Ski resorts of Austria, Switzerland and France remember how poor in snow the previous year was, so this season is going to be quite different from the previous one. According to the weather forecast, it is going to be sunny and clear however snowfalls are forecasted for Alpe d’Huez and Les Deux Alpes ski resorts. The snowfalls are also expected in Canada the next week, so everybody can choose the ski resort for Christmas holidays in Canada in Europe.

But not only snowfalls are responsible for good snow. Weather conditions also play a very important role in keeping good snow for skiing and snowboarding. At many ski resorts of Europe the average temperature is -5 degrees Centigrade, so the fresh snow doesn’t melt creating excellent conditions for skiing. So then why not to spend Christmas at one of the European pistes somewhere in Austria or France, for instance?
