The "Ryanair" company opened a new program August, 8. "Ryanair" already offers 58 direct flights to many ski resort airports in Europe from United Kingdom. Glasgow Prestwick is also included to this list. Besides, this company promises that soon they will offer a much wider choice for holidaymakers from Britain who want to spend their vacations at ski resorts.
Representative marketing manager for "Ryanair", Elaine Duff says that such a wide choice of routes to the slopes is just a response to market demands. She also underlined that their gateway airports were very convenient and had a simple access to the resorts that were more popular among skiers.
As for the other airline company "Zoom Airlines", it also launched a new program that will be more expanded than the previous ones. This program will start in 2008.
"Zoom Airlines" will also remove en-route stops at other UK airports that will only improve the customers’ convenience. It was also said that there would be twice more flights from Glasgow to Calgary.
