Dubai alpine ski center acquired penguins

From May 2012 Ski Dubai center will start organizing the show called "March of the Penguins". Several birds, including emperor penguins, will entertain skiers.

Especially for the penguins at the Dubai ski resort was created a cage with swimming pool, snow houses and special gaming areas. Penguin house will be located in the Snow Park - entertainment section of Ski Dubai. Here children have the unique opportunity to walk with penguins side by side.

The show organizers have not yet decided how to call new pets. Their names will be decided by the center visitors. Thus, Ski Dubai announced a contest for the best penguin name. The contest will last until June 7. Among the leading names that are currently under consideration as future nicknames are Playboy and Mumble.

Ski Dubai resort is one of several amazing constructions in Dubai, located in the Giant shopping center - Mall of the Emirates. The total area of Ski Dubai is 22 thousand square meters. It was opened in 2005.

It should be noted that in the current season penguin show promises to be not the only attractive event on the slopes of the only ski resort in the Middle East. On May 31, 2012 another outstanding event will be held here - "Night of Freestyle". During this event masters of extreme winter sports will show their skills. It is planned that the "Night of Freestyle" will be held at Ski Dubai on a regular basis each month.
