Ski holidays in Graubünden

The canton of Graubünden is home to some of Switzerland’s best ski areas. The exclusive ski resorts of St. Moritz and Davos are among the best-known ski centers in the region. Other ski resorts include Flims, Arosa, Laax, Klosters, San Bernadino, Samnaun, Sedrun and the Upper Engadine. The ski region around Flims, Falera and Laax lies at an altitude of more than 1,800 meters, so there is sure to be plenty of snow here during the winter months. The area has almost 30 ski lifts that take holidaymakers to the mountain peaks. A major advantage of a holiday in Graubünden is that the region is almost entirely German-speaking, so visitors from Germany will have no communication problems, unlike in Valais or western Switzerland. Klosters is especially well suited to a family ski holiday, as it offers activities to suit every member of the family. Lenzerheide has not only perfectly groomed slopes but also cross-country trails with a total length of around 50 kilometers. In Samnaun, on the border with Tyrol, there is even a dedicated toboggan run and excellent trails for cross-country skiers. The slopes reach altitudes of up to 2,900 meters and offer ideal conditions for everyone from beginners to experts to enjoy winter sports to the fullest. The Engadine is considered particularly snow-reliable, as most of its slopes are at high altitudes. At 3,300 meters, Corvatsch is the highest peak in the area. Graubünden’s ski areas also have numerous runs for snowboarders. Here, we bring you the latest news for your holiday in Graubünden.
